Rolfe Homestead Committee
This committee is responsible for coordinating the
day-to-day operations of the Rolfe Homestead and advising the Board on
matters pertaining to the use of Homestead properties.
Specific tasks:
- Develop site plan for Rolfe Homestead Property
(east and west) for Board approval and obtain necessary permits.
- Obtain Special Exception for property use.
- Develop landscaping plan for east side
property.
- Develop signage plan and obtain necessary
approvals.
- Secure listing on State Historic Register.
- Identify and implement tasks necessary to
prepare 1774 House for use.
- Develop room and apartment rental agreements
for Board approval.
- Develop event rental contracts and fee
schedule for Board approval.
- Negotiate room and apartment rental agreements
and oversee tenants in 1834 House.
- Coordinate with other Board Committees
regarding activities on Homestead property.
- Provide budgetary needs to Finance Committee
for inclusion in annual budget.
- Maintain minutes of committee meetings.
- Provide report to Board of Directors at each
board meeting.
