28. Penacook Youth Center – Bernice Cummings The need for a meeting place for Boy and Girl Scouts resulted in a group of dedicated citizens planning and volunteering their time to construct the Penacook Youth Center, which was completed in 1955. At first volunteers directed all the activities. Today there is a paid staff who provide programs for children and adults, and the facility is known as the Penacook Community Center. |
